Too many people these days have simply stopped using their brains, says Christopher Wright, the companys founder. There are countless intelligent people who have been marginalized by the prevailing cult of action video games out there. Our hope is that we have created a friendly, non-intimidating environment in which they can safely play the type of games they enjoy and meet like-minded people while so doing. There are many features we have packaged which make the experience all the more worthwhile, and which make our product different from everything else out there. Our games are not mere question and answer sessions; they are witty, fun and extremely entertaining, while still being informative and interesting.
As with other successful on-line communities, Braintrust has incorporated a high degree of interactivity among its membership base. Subscribers can chat during games, form groups with friends or others who share a common interest, schedule group events, and participate in forums. You can play against your friends in a small group, or join any number of other groups organized by geography, profession, hobby, etc.
The NoFrigginClue.com network offers a variety of trivia games organized by topic or question category. In addition, as they play, players accumulate the equivalent of frequent flyer points, which can be wagered against other parties and/or redeemed for Friggin merchandise or that of sponsors.
While focusing on creating a fun environment in which to play, the creators have not lost sight of the quality of their content. Writers were recruited at the grass-roots level to help share the vision of what NoFrigginClue.com would become. They have done a great job of locating material about which to write to make the game as entertaining and interesting as possible. There are over 20,000 questions (and growing) in the NoFrigginClue.com database, all written specifically for this product. Without naming the names of the competition, NoFrigginClue.com expects to take a big friggin bite out of the market, making its more entrenched Internet trivia competitors look like dinosaurs.
